Our students from Turkey are organising a collection of donations in kind, which will help their home country combat the consequences of the earthquake. The donations should be brought to room 86 in the Warsaw University of Technology Main Building (ground floor, the former bookshop).

The collection will be held from 13 to 24 February 2023 at 12.00-18.00. Only the following things will be collected: winter tents, heaters, blankets, generator sets, baby food, hygienic pads.

The collection is organised by three PW students: Engin Semih Demirkan (Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology), Fahri Çakir (Faculty of Automotive and Construction Machinery Engineering) and Deniz Burak Karaağaç (Faculty of Automotive and Construction Machinery Engineering). They are in contact with the Warsaw Collection Point, organised by the Turkish Embassy in Poland, where the donations collected at the Warsaw University of Technology will be sent.

Collection points have been organised in largest Polish cities: Warsaw, Łódź, Gdańsk, Wrocław, Kraków and Poznań. Up-to-date information on the collected items, addresses and contacts are available on Facebook and Twitter of the Turkish Embassy in Poland. You can also help by paying money into the account of the Turkish Embassy: 41 1090 1883 0000 0001 5300 0647.
