Representatives of the Warsaw University of Technology visited Tsinghua University. It was an opportunity to get to know each other better and discuss the possibilities of deepening cooperation.

Tsinghua University is one of the best universities in China and all of Asia. In the last Shanghai Ranking, it ranked 22nd – the best on the continent. In 2017, the Warsaw University of Technology signed a cooperation agreement with the university for the first time. Until recently, cooperation focused on issues related to internal combustion engines, but at the beginning of this year, Tsinghua University and the Warsaw University of Technology reconnected thanks to the “E-Laas: Energy-Optimal Urban Logistics as a Service” international project. After a long break due to the pandemic, it was time to strengthen contact. In October, a WUT delegation went on a study visit to Tsinghua University.

The Vice-Rector for Science, Prof. Mariusz Malinowski, the Dean of the Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering, Prof. Janusz Frączek, and scientists from the faculty: Prof. Wojciech Bujalski and Prof. Tomasz Goetzendorf-Grabowski, met the Vice-President of Tsinghua University, Yang Bin and other staff members. They discussed a further deepening of cooperation in the areas of science, technology and innovation, as well as joint actions to support the fostering of talent.
