Centre for Biotechnology of Warsaw University of Technology, Waryńskiego 1
prof. Krzysztof Szewczyk, Ph.D., D.Sc.
The aim of the event is to present the possibility of using microorganisms to produce renewable energy: ranging from production of biogas, hydrogen, to microbiological fuel cells.
The lecture deals with the specificity of use of biotechnology to obtain energy. There will be a presentation of some devices and methods used in biotechnological processes, as well as engineering-economic issues, that is: how to produce energy cheaply using microorganisms.
The event is open to a wide audience.
Length: 45 min.
