Representatives of Intel Corp. in Poland and Warsaw University of Technology

Development and future of microelectronics in Europe, as well as needs connected with staff training and cooperation possibilities were the main topics of a meeting which took place on the 29th of January 2024 at the Centre for Advanced Materials and Technologies CEZAMAT PW.

General Manager Gregory S. Anderson with Max Mieszko Dropiński and Milena Łuczko-Boczuła, representing Intel, participated in the meeting. The Warsaw University of Technology was represented by the Rector, Professor Krzysztof Zaremba, Vice-Rector for Development, Prof. Adam Woźniak, and Dean of the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology, Prof. Michał Malinowski, Prof. Witold Pleskacz, Prof. Robert Mroczyński, Tomasz Borejko, PhD, Jakub Walczak, PhD, from the WUT Faculty of Electronics of Information Technology, as well as deputy director of CEZAMAT PW Aleksandra Mościcka-Studzińska, Prof. Romuald Beck, Prof. Tomasz Skotnicki and Piotr Wiśniewski, PhD.

During the meeting, the participants presented development plans of Intel Corp. in Poland and Warsaw University of Technology activities in the field of semiconductor technologies, including education. They also discussed current needs of Intel Corp. and possible forms of cooperation. The guests visited the infrastructure and learned about the research and training potential of the Centre for Advanced Materials and Technologies CEZAMAT of the Warsaw University of Technology.
