Clean & Renewable Energy Sources
CRES is a new course of 4-semester MSc studies in Power Engineering. It is also our response to the challenges of the contemporary labour market.
Current trends in the power industry and energy management create a demand for comprehensively educated specialists, with expert knowledge from various fields of science. For this very reason, the CRES is a joint effort of four faculties of Warsaw University of Technology:
• Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering
• Faculty of Physics
• Faculty of Chemistry
• Faculty of Electrical Engineering.
This multidisciplinary approach will provide our graduates with extensive up-to-date professional knowledge, making them valuable assets for a wide variety of employers.
Three specializations are available:
• Materials for energy storage and conversion,
• Clean, efficient and sustainable electricity,
• New and renewable energy sources.
ENROLMENT
Enrolment will be carried out between 1st and 30th September 2010.
Applicants may be:
- Graduates of Polish state and private universities (both full-time and extramural courses) holding a degree of “inżynier” (BSc) in area of engineering
- Graduates of Polish state and private universities (both full-time and extramural courses) holding a degree of “licencjat” (BA) in the area of Physics, Environment protection etc.
- Graduates of foreign universities holding a diploma of BEng or BSc (or equivalent) in engineering or BA (or equivalent) in Physics, Environmental protection etc.

TUITION
Tuition for citizens of EU states is PLN 2500 per semester. Tuition for all other students is EUR 3500 per year.
