Conference of Rectors of Warsaw’s universities

On the 11th of June, in the Senate Hall of Warsaw University of Technology, there was a meeting of the Conference of Rectors of Warsaw’s universities led by the rector of Warsaw University of Life Sciences, prof. Tomasz Borecki.

The president of Warsaw, Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz, took part in the meeting, as well as current rectors and rectors elected for the 2008-2012 term of office. The aim of the meeting was to present to the president the problems that Warsaw’s universities face and to decide on common promotion of the city within the programme Study in Poland.

In the second part of the meeting, the rectors elected for the next term of office chose among themselves the president of CRWU for the 2008-2012 term of office. Rector of Warsaw University of Technology, prof. Włodzimierz Kurnik, was elected to be the president.
