WUT students distinguished in the international finals of the Ingenius competition

The team of students of Warsaw University of Technology ”Swing”, consisting of: Karol Trocewicz (Chemistry, 3rd year), Dariusz Smoleń (Chemistry, 3rd year) and Radosław Kwapiszewski (Biotechnology, 3rd year) represented the Polish branch of L’OREAL and Warsaw University of Technology in the international finals of the L’OREAL Ingenius competition, which took place in Paris on the 11th-14th of March.

Competing against 10 representatives of other countries, i.a. USA, China, France and Germany, the Polish team was distinguished for their professional and interactive presentation which was distinguished by the presidium of L’OREAL with the opportunity of work training in one of L’OREAL factories, located all over the world. The project of students was so good that it will be carried out in the next few years in the factory Kosmepol S.A. in Kanie and it will be taken into account at other such buildings all over the world.

The L’OREAL Ingenius competition comprises three stages: preliminary qualifications, national finals and international finals. The topic of the competition project during the national finals were technological solutions for a self-sufficient office building. Our students, as winners of the national finals, developed their project with specialists from L’OREAL for 3 months in order to represent Poland as well as possible.
