On behalf of Warsaw University of Technology PhD Students Board we would like to invite you sin-cerely to participate in 5th PhD Students and Young Scientists Conference Young scientists towards the challenges of contemporary technology that takes place at Warsaw University of Technology, 13-16 Sep-tember 2010.

We will be very grateful if you could pass on the following information about Young Scientists Con-ference to those whom it may concern.
Over four years ago we started an effort for integration of young scientists community. By continuing this initiative, we would like to sincerely invite all of you to participate in our conference. Its main goal is to support co-operation between young scientists from Poland and other countries and to foster their scientific carrier.
Interdisciplinary character is shown mainly in highly diversified conference scope, which includes:
- natural sciences,
- biomedical engineering,
- mechanics, automation and robotics
- town and urban planning, architecture and building engineering,
- applied mathematics,
- electronics and information technologies,
- nanotechnologies and materials,
- social sciences in technology.
Also every year conference organisers strive to enrich scientific sessions with interesting lectures, workshops and presentations about science funding. Therefore this years conference will last a day longer. During that day we plan to invite several most innovative companies as well as speakers that will acquaint guests with science and business cooperation opportunities and intellectual property protection. Moreover this day will be also devoted to a poster session.
All accepted papers will be published in a book presenting contribution of young scientists to devel-opment of particular areas of science. Every submitted paper will be reviewed by Scientific Board.
As in previous years the conference is organised under honorary patronage of Minister of Science and Higher Education Prof. Barbara Kudrycka, PhD, DSc, Marshal of the Mazovia Province Mr Adam Struzik and Warsaw University of Technology Rector Magnificus Prof. Włodzimierz Kurnik, PhD, DSc.
