Computer Aided process of building Knowledge-Based Engineering applications in machine design

Aim of project
The project deals with new solutions to make the process of building KBE applications for selected classes of problems more effective. The proposed approach consists of the following stages: 1) building a detailed, formal , object-oriented representation of a product and a design process, 2) transformation of the representation – which was built in step 1) with the help of the tools developed in the project – into a system in a suitable programming language, 3) integration of a module built in step 2) with a commercial CAD/CAE system equiped with the KBE module.

Expected results
The project should make the process of building industrial KBE applications more effective applying object-oriented engineering knowledge modeling.
