Aim of project
Design and manufacturing of spiral and hypoid bevel gears is a complex task because it connects geometrical and technological calculations. Some features of design of bevel gears, complicated technological setups, conditions of milling operation cause that the desired tooth contact is not obtained. The shape, size and location of tooth contact are very important features in quality estimation of spiral bevel gers. The project allows to create a computer integrated environment of design and manufacturing of spiral and hypoid gears.

Expected results
Computerized integration of design and manufacturing of spiral and hypoid bevel gears is a method of verification of design and technological assumptions as well as reducing manufacturing costs. The project can be used for research purposes and domestic machine industry.
