Aim of project
The project objective is investigation of process intensification possibilities of selective gaseous species removal by adsorptive methods using microwave regeneration of adsorbents.
Expected results
A methodology of appropriate adsorbent selection will be developed, based on detailed investigations of process parameters influence on microwave desorption and taking into account various sorts of adsorptive and its properties. The obtained results will be used to develop a model of microwave desorption for a single adsorbent seed and, further, for subsequent verifi cation of the model. The experiments conduced in a fl ow setup will be used to develop a model of adsorbent bed microwave desorption in the flow setup.
