Aim of project
Development of metal-organic frameworks is of current interest due to their potential applications in microelectronics, zeolite-like materials for molecular selection and catalysis. The aim of the project is the development of new synthetic methods of molecular and macromolecular organometallic and inorganic-organic compounds based on carboxylates and alkoxides of main group metals. Parallel studies will be focused on the
application of the resulting compounds as catalytic systems in the selected polymerization processes as well as basic building units of functional materials.
Expected results
Fabrication of new precursors of functional materials based on main group metal alkoxides and carboxylates
as well as development of new catalytic systems involving alumoxanes and carboxy-alumoxanes in the polimerization of vinillic and heterocyclic monomers. Fabrication of new composites based on polymers modifi ed by nanoparticles.
