Aim of project
The main aim of the project is to design a new method of preparation of unstable carbenes and to study reactions of these carbenes with various organometallic compounds (first of all with nickelocene and other metallocenes). The products of these reactions will be isolated and characterized. The prepared complexes will be used as catalysts in polymerization of methene derivatives to obtain novel polymeric materials.
Expected results
Novel organometallic complexes with unstable carbenes will be prepared and applied as catalysts in polymerization of methene derivatives. Publications, patents and presentations at scientific conferences will be results of the project realization.
