Aim of project
The aim of this project is to synthesise catalysts of high acid strength by introduction of strong protic acids (H2SO4, H2SO4-SO3, CF3SO3H, H3PO4-BF3) into oxides porous system. Interactions of surface aprotic sites with the acids should result in formation of analogues of classic superacids of Lewis acid/Brønsted acid type. Acid properties as well as the nature of acid/carrier surface interaction will be examined. Then the catalysts will be modifi ed with transition metal ions in order to change alkane isomerising selectivity.

Expected results
Synthesis of new selective catalysts for low temperature alkane conversions.
