Aim of project
The aim of the project is to develop the methods, to synthesize substituted arylboronic acids and to determine their structures in crystal phase and spectroscopic characterization in solutions. The second part is devoted to the synthesis and structural investigations of the compounds containing functional groups which allow to obtain derivatives of potential applications (e.g. receptors, podand solvents). Additionally, the syntheses of boronic esters will be made and the compounds will be tested as conducting polymers additives.
Expected results
The result of the project will be the development of the synthetic methods for new boronic acids, structural characterization and correlations between experiments and the results of calculations. Selected compounds will be tested towards potential applications in conducting polymers and molecular receptors.
