aim of project
The present development of measuring techniques based on WAMS allows the concept of effi cient FACTS device control systems, the principles of which are based on the use of state variable measurements. This project is aimed to defi ne the most convenient control system for FACTS devices from the perspective of WAMS measurement technique application. The assumption is to develop a state variable measurement-based WAMS measuring system used for obtaining a robust controller. Also the project will take into account the interaction between the designed FACTS controller and the other FACTS controllers. A defi nition of the criteria used for the design of a WAMS measuring system-based controller is given. The methodology of control system design and the analysis of the obtained controller assuming a multimachine system model analysis as a case study are also presented. The obtained results and the range of performed tests should be a solution to the issue of the proposed controller application.
expected results
Design of FACTS device controller and evaluation of their application from the perspective of the WAMS measuring system.
