Aim of project
Development of cost-eff ective methodology for creating models of parts involved in producing Application Specific Integrated Circuits or Field Programmable Gate Array hardware for DSP and image processing applications;
Development of new DSP processing systems based on hardware designed with the use of the most recent FPGA structures and software designed to efficiently utilize specifi c features of these programmable structures;
Development of efficient software tools for advanced synthesis of DSP specific modules (such as filters and wavelet transform) essential in implementation of high performance information systems. In particular:
Investigation of new decomposition-based synthesis methods, their properties, and their corresponding blanket representation to analyze and synthesize large digital information systems;
Development of new highly efficient circuit design methods for information systems oriented to advanced Field Programmable Gate Array architecture technology and comparison of their efficiency with other methods used in the design of modern information systems.

Expected results
Software CAD systems and hardware prototypes that implement our developed methods and algorithms in programmable structures using specifi c features such as Embedded Memory Blocks, DSP Blocks;
Publications of the results of our research in prestigious international journals and at conferences.
