Aim of project
The aim of the project is to develop methodology for designing displacement monitoring systems for various civil engineering objects. It is going to cover solutions from advanced systems for storage reservoirs with a set of dams, through less complicated systems for a single dam, to simple solutions for objects such as buildings and their surroundings.
The project is going to include the development of a displacement monitoring system for a civil engineering object with sequential data transfer to web service for further analysis (for instance, as a part of a safety evaluation system).
Expected results
System design The development of methods for verification and integration of data from different measurement techniques, displacement monitoring reference system stability tests, principles of teleinformation system design;
The elaboration of rules for presentation and distribution of displacement monitoring data;
Detailed studies of diff erent measurement techniques;
The development of methods for dynamic displacement monitoring with the application of robotized tacheometer, RTKGPS and inclinometric techniques;
The development of rules for using a non-standard bar code measuring rod for vertical displacement monitoring. Practical aspect
The development of a remote displacement monitoring system for a civil engineering object under supervision;
The elaboration of configuration rules for displacement monitoring systems for selected classes of civil engineering objects.
