Aim of project
The aim of the project is elaboration, formation and characterization magnetic nanostructures for biomedical applications. The partial aims resulting from the main objective are as follows: - processing of powder particles containing magnetic nanocrystallites, - elaboration of nanocrystallites showing superparamagnetic properties, - formation of particles capable for functionalization, - formation of non-toxic particles.

Expected results

The result of this project will be the method of the processing of magnetic nanostructures for application in targeted drug delivery and tagging of biological substances. Magnetic properties of obtained materials will be evaluated, complete characterization of physical properties and biocompatibility tests will be performed.
