Manufacturing of bulk nanocrystalline materials from polycrystalline Al-Si alloys

aim of project
The aim of this project was to produce bulk nanocrystalline Al-Si alloys with small additions of transition metals (Ni,Fe) and rare earth elements: the eff ect of chemical composition and different compaction parameters on quality and mechanical properties of the bulk samples; structural characterization; hardness, density and porosity measurements of the produced materials; determination of thermal stability of nanocrystalline structure.
