Aim of project
The main aim of the project is to develop new algorithms for simulation of flexible multi-body systems with large displacements and strains. It is assumed that multi-body systems are modeled using absolute nodal coordinate frame notation (ANCF). Another aim can be defi ned as developing methods for analysis of rigid multi-body systems which can be implemented both on computer clusters and SMP computers. The last two aims concern elaborating methods of analysis of rigid multi-body systems with friction and redundant constraints. The main activity is focused on methods of detection of reaction forces and motion of the system, which is clearly determined despite the fact that redundant constraints appear in the system. It is expected that the method developed in the project will be applied for analysis of real biomechanical and robotic systems.
