Aim of project
The main aim of the project is to develop our knowledge about physical processes which occur during powder coating by detonation method. In the project, basic relationships between parameters of impacting WC+Co particles and phenomena occurring on the border substrate-particle and substrate- substrate will be investigated. The main aim of the project is determination of physical parameters to use in powder coating of WC+Co on titanium and low-carbon steel.
Expected results
The Expected results of the project are:
Development of layer formation hypothesis during powder coating by detonation method;
Development of a numerical model for powder coating simulation by detonation method;
Determination of physical parameters of the powder coating process for further practical applications.
We hope to carry out a simulation of the powder coating process using the developed model.
