Mechanical micro-joining methods

Aim of Project:
The main aim of the project is verification of self-piercing riveting and clinching application in micro-parts joining. Subsidiary interests are focused on taking into account low frequence aided micro-forming with piezo-electric vibrators and application of nano-materials for micro-rivets.

Expected results:
Elaboration of assumptions for miniaturization, micro-joint strength estimation and evaluation of technology introduction to the industry practice.
