Studies in Polish language

Citizens of non-EU countries can undertake their studies at the Warsaw University of Technology with Polish as a language of instruction:

According to the Resolution of the Senate of Warsaw University of Technology, of the 28th of May 2008, international students from outside EU may apply for free-of-charge full-time studies (B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees), conducted in Polish. 
 For foreigners accepted for studies by way of this recruitment method, there are about 1% of the total number of places on the appropriate type of studies:

All candidates must take the written examination on 01.07.2011

Note: competitive examination for admission for free of charge studies, you can take in Warsaw or Kiev. The choice of pass should be indicated in the examination entry in the application system.
 
 The examination will be conducted simultaneously in Warsaw  , in the Main Building, plac Politechniki 1 and in Kiev (National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Politechnic Institute” – address of the examination halls will be announced at a later date).

In Warsaw:

  • at 9:00 – examination in Mathematics, 150 minutes, 6 tasks
  • at 14:00 – examination in Physics (or Chemistry), 150 minutes, 6 tasks

In Kiev:
 (ukrainian time)

  • at 10:00 – examination in Mathematics, 150 minutes, 6 tasks
  • at 15:00 – examination in Physics (or Chemistry), 150 minutes, 6 tasks

The candidates who would like to apply for the Field of Study in Administration can choose as a second subject History or Geography instead of Physics or Chemistry.

 The results of the examinations and admissions will be announced on 3.07.2011.
 Recruitment Committees may specify minimum requirements in terms of examination results and decide not to fill the offered places.

Together with examination entry in the application system candidates must send copy of B.Sc. Diploma and Transcript of Records: students@cwm.pw.edu.pl  .

There is a possibility to submit only a Transcript of Records by 20.06.2011, but all candidates are obliged to submit all original documents not later than by 1.10.2011.

The Admission Committee will make a decision concerning admission process by 1.07.2011:
 - whether the candidate is accepted,
 - whether the candidate is invited for intervew or exam with the date and the tipe of exam,
 - whether the student is not accepted.

If the number of candidates pre-accepted for the study exceeds the number of places in a given field of study, there will be a written competitive examination. The scope of this examination for particular fields of study is defined in the attached table “Rules for eligibility”. The examination will be held not earlier than one month after its announcement. After that time more details will be available.
