We have the pleasure to announce that Daria Gołębiowska-Tataj, Ph.D., a lecturer of Warsaw University of Technology Business School, is the only person from Poland chosen to the Governing Board of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology.
30.07.2008 Brussels (PAP) – Daria Gołębiowska-Tataj, Ph.D., from Warsaw University of Technology is one of 18 professionals from the worlds of science, business and higher education who on Wednesday were officially nominated to the Governing Board of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT).
The Governing Board will be responsible for the selection, coordination and evaluation of the operation of the so-called Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs), which EIT is going to consist of. The eighteen members nominated on Wednesday will be joined by four more members – representatives of KICs once these have been created. The first two or three KICs are to be created by the end of next year.
Daria Gołębiowska-Tataj, Ph.D., is an expert on managing and financing company development, she co-creates and implements state-of-the-art management methods and new business strategies. She is a lecturer at Warsaw University of Technology Business School. She also supports the development of women leaders, first as an initiator of the club Women MBA Networking, then as one of the founders of the Diadem foundation. In 2006 she was chosen to become a member of the elite Emerging Global Women Business Leaders by the American Department of State and ”Fortune Magazine”.
