Studies in Polish language

Information for foreigners interested in Polish-language studies at Warsaw University of Technology

According to the Resolution of the Senate of Warsaw University of Technology, made on the 28th of May 2008, foreigners may apply for admission to free-of-charge full-time first-cycle studies (engineer’s and bachelor’s degree), conducted in Polish. The requirements for admission to these studies are specified in the attachment to the Resolution – see here.

For foreigners accepted for studies by way of this recruitment method, there are 56 places at the following faculties and specializations:

Candidates interested in these studies must complete the form given at the bottom of this page and send it to rekrutacja@pw.edu.pl or submit it to the Office for Admissions - Plac Politechniki 1 room 66, until 21.07.2008.

All candidates must take the written examination on 23.07.

at 9:00 – examination on Mathematics, 150 minutes, 6 tasks
at 13:00 – examination on Physics, 150 minutes, 6 tasks

The examination will be conducted in the Main Building, plac Politechniki 1.

To be accepted for the examination, the candidate must pay the recruitment fee of 85zł into the account: 47 1240 1053 5111 1865 0010 0091

The recipient of payment is ”Warsaw University of Technology, plac Politechniki 1, Warsaw”

In the title of payment, “Examination” and the candidate’s name should be written. Payment must be made until 21.07. Please inform the Office about the payment by phone or e-mail. Proof of payment must be brought to the examination.

The results of the examinations and admissions will be published on 24.07.2008.

Recruitment Committees may specify minimum requirements in terms of examination results and decide not to fill the offered places.
