In the 2026 edition of the Center for World University Rankings (CWUR), the Warsaw University of Technology was ranked 762nd in the world. The ranking evaluated 21,291 higher education institutions, with the top-performing universities included in the Global 2000 list.
Our University is among the top 3.6% of highest-ranked institutions worldwide. In the European ranking, it placed 288th, and in Poland it ranked 4th out of 39 institutions. Higher positions were achieved only by AGH University of Krakow (627th globally), University of Warsaw (438th), and Jagiellonian University (396th).

The top of the ranking was dominated by universities from the United States (8 institutions) and the United Kingdom (2 institutions). The top three positions were held by Harvard University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and Stanford University. China had the highest representation in the ranking, with 360 institutions included.
