Our University will cooperate with research units from South Korea: Korea Automotive Technology Institute (KATECH), Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT), Kyungpook National University (KNU) and Busan National University (PNU). Letters of intent in this matter on behalf of the WUT were signed by the Vice-Rector for Research, Prof. Mariusz Malinowski.

The areas of cooperation between the WUT and the Korea Automotive Technology Institute (KATECH) will focus on technologies used in automotive technology, electromobility, and semiconductors for the automotive industry.

Letters of intent with the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT), Kyungpook National University (KNU), and Busan National University (PNU) involve collaboration in the field of industrial technologies and the promotion of research and development activities through training and visits of employees from high-tech industries. The cooperation will cover various industrial sectors, with particular emphasis on electrical, electronic, information and communication technologies, as well as advanced materials and components.

The agreements were signed on July 13 and 14, 2023, during the visit of the Korean delegation to Warsaw at the Korea-Poland Business Forum.

Representatives of the Korean partners also visited the Warsaw University of Technology, where they introduced their institutions, toured our University, attended presentations dedicated to it, and engaged in discussions with researchers from the WUT.
