Starting with Big Bang, through the fascinating world of matter, antimatter and elementary particles, as well as the greatest modern experiments done with the Large Hadron Collider, we invite you to a trip through the CERN universe – to a multimedia exhibition Accelerating Science devoted to the European Organisation for Nuclear Research.

The exhibition consists of three capsules which help us understand what CERN scientists are really studying and how advanced technologies they use. There will also be films, animations and other elements that will awaken the imagination of our visitors. Guides who unravel the mysteries of microcosm to the visitors, particle by particle, will make the visit attractive both for adults and for children and teenagers.

The exhibition can be seen in the Hall of the Faculty of Physics of the Warsaw University of Technology (75, Koszykowa St.). It may be visited from 7 June to 2 July on weekdays and at the weekends of 8-9 June and 15-16 June. Entrance is free. Organised groups (up to 35 persons) should register through this form. Every registered group will be shown around by our guides. We also invite English-speaking groups.

The exhibition is organised by the WUT Faculty of Physics, Warsaw University, Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the National Centre for Nuclear Research as part of the 70th anniversary of CERN.

The exhibition is cofinanced within the programme "Excellence Initiative – Research University" (IDUB) at WUT.
