Economic Award of the President of the Republic of Poland for ExoFrame
During the celebration held on the 7th of November at the Łańcut Castle, prizes were awarded in the 22nd edition of the Economic Award of the President of the Republic of Poland. The winners include the company ExoFrame from the Warsaw University of Technology, which was the winner in the special category Research & Development. The award was received by board president Adam Zawadzki from the hands of President Andrzej Duda.
This prestigious award is given annually to Polish companies that support the development of the Polish economy, do business in a responsible way and promote a positive image of Poland in the world. The Economic Award of the President of the Republic of Poland may also be given to research teams and scientific units that implement product or technological innovations.
The company ExoFrame develops exoskeletons that improve human strength. Thanks to progress in biomechanics, robotics and control sciences, exoskeletons find wider and wider practical applications. The models offered by the company are passive structures of simple and durable construction, which combine ergonomics and functionality. Their aim is the improvement of working and living conditions by reducing the load on the muscular and skeletal system.
