”European Universities” – collaboration with associated partners

The ENHANCE consortium

The ENHANCE consortium will collaborate with 30 associated partners representing academic and non-academic communities.

The ENHANCE consortium, which comprises 7 leading European universities of technology, including the Warsaw University of Technology, will collaborate with associated partners. This will give the consortium universities support in the areas of ”Digitisation and Artificial Intelligence”, ”Sustainable Cities and Societies” and “Climate”. Associated partners will play an advisory role and help promote the results of the project.

The ENHANCE consortium will collaborate with 30 associated partners representing academic and non-academic communities from Belgium, France, Spain, Germany, Norway, Serbia, Sweden, Poland, Great Britain and Italy. These include:

  • councils of cities where the consortium universities are located – their task will be to support actions in the areas of ”Sustainable Cities and Societies” and “Climate”;
  • state and private companies, including large corporations, such as Volvo Group or Siemens, which, among others, will offer students the opportunity to complete internships and participate in research projects. Cooperation is also planned in the area of development of study programmes and joint supervision of degree candidates and doctoral students;
  • charities and non-profit organisations will act in an advisory capacity in the areas they are active in, help promote the results of the project, as well as support actions towards inclusion of underrepresented groups in university communities. Tasks to be completed in this area are, for example, actions towards equal opportunities and promotion of women taking up technical studies;
  • research networks, which will provide advice for the consortium on development of a joint study offer and development of innovative teaching methods, as well as support testing new models of mobility of students, doctoral students and persons doing post-doctoral internships.

Importantly, the project will be supported by international student organisations. Involvement of these organisations will contribute to improved adaptation of study programmes to the needs of the young. Thanks to the communication channels of these organisations and student conferences it will be possible to popularise the achieved results. A significant role in the consortium will also be played by science centres, which promote science in the society.

Polish associated partners in the project ”European Universities” are: the Łukasiewicz Research Network, Warsaw City Hall and Perspektywy Education Foundation.
