Lecture of Professor Koji Hashimoto at WUT

Professor Koji Hashimoto of Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan will deliver a lecture in English "For Sustainable Development of the Whole World by Renewable Energy" at Warsaw University of Technology on June 19th 2018.

Professor Koji Hashimoto is an outstanding scientist and great friend of Polish physicochemists. He is widely known for ist achievements in the field of education and development of international cooperation, in particular Polish-Japanese cooperation, the development of science on new functional materials, their production and application in such fields as corrosion protection, ecology, renewable energy production. Professor Hashimoto’s interest in the ecology and recycling of CO2 on the scale of whole planet inspires him to think about the well-being of future generations.

Professor Hashimoto has received a number of international awards for his achievements in the fields of education, research and organisation of international cooperation. As part of the Polish-Japanese cooperation, he hosted many Polish physicochemists from scientific centres in Warsaw and Kraków at his Laboratory at Tohoku University in Sendai.

The Seminar will be held on Tuesday, June 19th, 2018, at 4:15 p.m. in Room 134 of the Main Building of the Warsaw University of Technology. After the lecture we invite you to a refreshment, during which you will be able to talk directly to the speaker.
