Karol Abratkiewicz in his scientific paper deals with algorithms for radar signal processing, with particular emphasis on the analysis of non-stationary signals in the time-frequency domain. He is the author or co-author of more than thirty scholarly articles, conference papers, and research reports.

Our PhD student has also received various awards for scientific achievements, including: Second and Third Prizes in the competition for young researchers of the international Signal Processing Symposium conference in 2019 and 2021, the Rector of Warsaw University of Technology's team award for scientific achievements in 2018-2019, and a MIKON Foundation scholarship. He is also involved in national and international research and development projects in the field of defense and security carried out at the Radiolocation Techniques Laboratory.

The MDPI Sensors award winner is currently working on his doctoral dissertation “Methods of analysis and synthesis for radar signals using chirp rate estimation in the time frequency domain”, which he is preparing under the supervision of Prof. Piotr Samczyński, PhD, DSc.
