Our student with a bronze medal of World Judo Juniors Championships
Karolina Siennicka, a student of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology, won a bronze medal at the World Judo Juniors Championships. The Polish athlete competed in the under 57 kg weight category, which included a total of 43 contenders.
In her match for the bronze medal, Karolina Siennicka triumphed over Spanish competitor Adriana Saez by ippon. This marks the first medal for the 11-member Polish team at the tournament. On her path to the podium, Siennicka also secured victory against European champion Fidan Alizada from Azerbaijan.
The competition is taking place in Dushanbe.
