In the Large Auditorium in the Main Building of the Warsaw University of Technology you can see the exhibition "CLEANTECH - Technology for a Green Future", presenting innovative solutions of Swiss researchers and entrepreneurs in the field of clean technologies.

CLEANTECH presents solutions in such areas as: water, agriculture, e-mobility, recycling and energy. The exhibition, organized by the Swiss Embassy in Poland, at the Warsaw University of Technology will be available until November 24. Then it will be transferred, among others to Katowice and Rzeszów.

The exhibition at our University was opened by the Rector of the Warsaw University of Technology, prof. Krzysztof Zaremba and Matthias Dettling - Deputy Head of Mission and Pablo Padrutt - Head of the Economic, Financial and Scientific Section of the Swiss Embassy in Poland.

– I am very happy that this most interesting exhibition, which tells not only about modern technology, but also about technology that does not harm the environment, and even supports or protects its development, takes place in the Large Hall of the Warsaw University of Technology – it has an academic overtone – said prof. Krzysztof Zaremba. – It is a very important exhibition for the University, because in the Development Strategy of the Warsaw University of Technology until 2030, which will see the light of day at any moment, we declare that our main area of interest and focus will be all areas related to environmental protection, sustainable industry and the environment, as well as healthcare.

– “The coming years will be decisive for our joint efforts to combat climate change and achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions in the future," underlined Matthias Dettling. – As the most innovative country in the world, according to the Global Innovation Index, Switzerland is convinced that the transition to clean technology and renewable energy is a key element of these efforts, which is why we have prepared the CLEANTECH exhibition, which we are presenting in several countries around the world.

After the opening ceremony of the exhibition, WUT employees and students took part in the seminar "Sustainable development as a priority in digital business" devoted to green transformation.
