The Warsaw University of Technology improves its position in the International QS Rankings by Subject

Warsaw University of Technology has improved its scores in two of its key areas: Engineering & Technology, and Natural Sciences.

WUT is now the 192th in the world in Engineering & Technology. It is 14 places higher than in the 2016 list. Furthermore, the University’s score is the highest among all Polish universities.

WUT placed 270th in the Natural Sciences global ranking. It is an improvement of 128 places compared to last year. It is also the second university in Poland in this area.

The ranking’s creators have studied 4,438 universities around the world, 3,098 have qualified to the ranking, of which 1,117 have been ranked.

The Warsaw University of Technology is ranked in 5 of 6 Engineering & Technology categories; it is the best in Poland in 4 of them.

On the other hand, the University is ranked in 4 of 7 Natural Sciences categories, one of which is the first place domestically.

The QS Rankings by Subject belong to the group of rankings prepared by Quacquarelli Symonds, international tertiary education expert. The main (overall) QS ranking is one of the four most important educational rankings in the world, next to such rankings as Times Higher Education, Shanghai Ranking, and U-Multirank.
