The newest Best Global Universities Ranking – WUT’s promotion
In the U.S. News & World Report Warsaw University of Technology took third place among all Polish universities and 593rd among universities from all around the world. Last year WUT was placed at 635th position among all universities.
WUT improved not only its place but also score – from 37,8 points last year to 47,4 this year.
The third annual U.S. News Best Global Universities rankings were produced to provide insight into how universities compare globally. 13 Polish universities were taken under consideration this time. WUT has been overtaken by University of Warsaw (57,1 points and 319thplace out of 1000) and Jagiellonian University (55,3 points and 64th position).
Best Global Universities Ranking is prepared based on 12 parameters, including academic reputation, publications and citations. It focuses specifically on schools' academic research overall and not on their separate undergraduate or graduate programs.
One thousand best universities from all around the world were listed in this year’s – third edition of the ranking.
