WUT among the best 3 of Polish universities in QS WUR

According to the current QS World University Ranking, the Warsaw University of Technology was classified in the places’ range 601 to 650 (same as in the lasts two editions). WUT is the 3rd best university among only 14 Polish universities that was taken into consideration in the QS WUR.

The ranking’s creators have qualified 1000 best universities around the world. The highest score among all the ranked Polish unis was given to The Warsaw University (394 place) and The Jagiellonian University (411 place).

Ranking QS WUR considers 6 main criterions: reputation in the academic community, prestige among the employers, ratio of the number of lecturers to the number of students, number of quotings, number of foreigners students and employees.

The first four places in the QS Ranking were occupied by US universities, namely Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Stanford University, Harvard University i California Institute of Technology (Caltech). What is more, the first eleven places were dominated by only american universities.

The QS Rankings by Subject belong to the group of rankings prepared by Quacquarelli Symonds, international tertiary education expert. The main (overall) QS ranking is one of the four most important educational rankings in the world, next to such rankings as Times Higher Education, Shanghai Ranking, and U-Multirank.
