WUT in the Times Higher Education Ranking

In the newest edition of the Times Higher Education Ranking, the Warsaw University of Technology has been classified in the group between 601-800. Among 12 Polish universities considered in the ranking, higher than WUT was only University of Warsaw (places 501-600).

At the same group as WUT were also placed AGH University of Science and Technology and Jagiellonian University in Kraków.

The Times Higher Education World University Ranking is prepared by British magazine “The Times Higher Education” dedicated to the tertiary education. The ranking is created based on 13 indicators, to provide the most comprehensive and balanced comparisons.

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2018 list the top 1,000 universities in the world, making it the biggest international league table to date. The number of universities has increased from 978 to 1102. These are the best academies from 77 countries.

Top places in the ranking took University of Oxford (1st place), University of Cambridge (2nd place), California Institute of Technology,  Stanford University (3rd place ex aequo).

Times Higher Education World University Ranking is one of four the most important world rankings, next to QS, Shanghai Ranking, and U-Multirank.
