WUT representatives in an international programme on the future of work
The “Future of Work” Blended Intensive Programme (BIP). The team involving WUT students working on their project
Students of the Faculty of Management – Veronika Stefaniak, Maksymilian Życiński and Mikołaj Piernicki – together with their supervisor, Mirosław Wójcik, took part in the international Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) titled “Future of Work”. The programme was organised by UC Leuven‑Limburg University of Applied Sciences in Diepenbeek, Belgium, and ran from 9 to 13 March 2026.
Students from ten other European universities also took part in the initiative, creating a unique space for sharing knowledge, experience and intercultural perspectives.
The programme included intensive workshops, meetings with business representatives and teamwork on a real case study focused on modern technologies and diversity in the workplace. Throughout the week, participants presented the results of their individual preparations, jointly developed ideas and enriched them with insights gained from lectures and study visits.
The programme concluded with team presentations, during which participants showcased their work in short, dynamic pitches. The evaluation covered clarity and coherence of message, the logical structure of argument, originality, and the overall quality of the presentation. The team that included students from our Faculty of Management achieved an excellent result, taking joint second place with distinction among eight competing groups, missing the top spot by just one point.
The programme also involved Mirosław Wójcik, who participated as an academic teacher, supporting the students and contributing to the educational value of the initiative.
Participation in the BIP “Future of Work” programme is an important step in developing future‑oriented competences, including analytical, communication and intercultural skills, and confirms the faculty’s commitment to international academic cooperation.
