Eight teams of several students each competed in the competition organized by the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. Within 24 hours, they had to come up with a solution responding to current social problems, particularly the one that would assist Ukrainian residents fleeing the war in finding their place in Poland.

The School Finder mobile application was developed by the "Waciaki" team, consisting of Emilia Wróblewska and Bartomiej Żyła – graduates of the WUT Faculty of Mathematics and Information Science, as well as Kinga Arendarska and Szymon Gruszczyński – students of the WUT Faculty of Cybernetics. Its goal is to assist Ukrainian refugees in finding schools for their children.

The app allows parents to filter school facilities based on criteria they input, such as language skills or the degree of disability their child has.

Upon filing an application in Ukrainian, English, or Polish, the selected educational institution receives an e-mail in Polish with basic information. The e-mail also includes a link to another system component, a web application intended for school facilities. The application allows them to manage the applications they have received, including rejecting or accepting them and scheduling an appointment.
