A solution proposed by the students of the Warsaw University of Technology and the Silesian University of Technology was awarded in the Datathon #OpenData programming marathon.

- We focused on helping Ukrainian refugees find a job, a school, or even a health center in various districts and towns across Poland, which may have a higher capacity than crowded Warsaw or Krakow — Aleksandra Jamróz, a student at the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology, says about the goals of her team.

The team, made up of students from the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology at Warsaw University of Technology and the Silesian University of Technology [object.object], created a mobile and web application called Гдe (English name: where). It is a solution that, based on a person's profile and individual needs, assists in the selection of a workplace, school, or even a health center. The user is given a contact bundle that includes lists of useful locations. Such bundles would also include web addresses for aid sites where you can access the databases of housing made available by people all throughout the country.

The basis of the algorithm created by young programmers from the Warsaw University of Technology and the Silesian University of Technology were data from API to the knowledge databases of the Central Statistical Office.
