The aim of the competition is to choose places for the first tests of Hyperloop. 2600 proposals from all around the world took part in the competition. Only 35 of them were qualified to the semifinal stage. Hyperloop One company will publish the best routes, that will move forward to the final,  in the second quarter of the year 2017.

Members of Hyper Poland Team are young engineers from the Warsaw University of Poland, Wrocław University of Science and Technology and representatives of design companies. Semifinal of the Hyperloop One Global Challenge is another important distinction for the team.

At the beginning of 2016, the team presented their project of Hyperloop vehicle during the competition in Texas. They were appreciated for the congeneric approach. Last September, during finals of the Build Earth Live: Hyperloop in Dubai, the team Hyper Poland was rewarded for the most innovative approach to Building Information Modeling (BIM).

The tradition of the Hyperloop is continuing by WUT’s students from Hyper Poland University Team. In cooperation with colleagues from Wrocław, they work on one-man Hyperloop capsule. Their project moved forward to the second stage of the Hyperloop Pod Competition.
