For two days the square in front of the Main Building will once again turn into a Christmas market. There will be stalls with gifts and food and among them, a special one – the stall of our university.

Like every year, in the our stall you will find WUT gadgets – our classic socks for a start. We have also prepared, for example, warm caps, gloves, t-shirts, sweatshirts, mascots, bags, mugs, and umbrellas. There will be also typical Christmas items, such as gingerbreads, decorations or honey from our apiary. We have also made sure that at the market you can put together an engineer’s toolkit. Traditionally in our WUT stall we do not sell items but we collect money. Gadgets can be received in return for a donation. All the collected funds will be allocated to the Christmas Grant – a distinction for students and doctoral students involved in promoting the University and building its positive image. Importantly, donations are accepted in cash only – the nearest cash machine is located in the hall of the Main Building.

At the WUT Christmas Market, there will also be other stalls. You will be able to buy, for instance, mountain cheese, marmalades and juices, dumplings and bortsch, candles, ceramic products and glass Christmas tree decorations. Hungry ones will be able to visit food trucks.

Our Market will be open from 10.00 to 17.00 on both days. Entrance is free. We invite everyone who wants to feel the Christmas spirit, buy presents, financially support our students and doctoral students and just have a nice time.

Especially important will be the first day of the Market – on the 7^th of December at 12.30 in the square in front of the Main Building we will announce the winners of the Christmas Grant (the funds for that purpose were raised during last year’s event) and we will award them with prizes. Then we will provide Christmas trees to the WUT faculties. On this day, the new Christmas illumination of the WUT Main Building will be launched.
