Design Educates Awards: 4 distinctions for our students
The projects of our four students were distinguished in this year’s edition of the competition "Design Educates Awards", which is a prestigious international competition aimed at promoting value-driven architecture. The distinguished designs were created by: Tomasz Szenajch, Aleksandra Snopkowska, Przemysław Sasin and Agnieszka Wardzińska.
The "Special Recognition in architectural design" distinction was awarded to Tomasz Szenajch and Aleksandra Snopkowska.
- Tomasz Szenajch - "Kurpie House: Evolving Vernacular Form Through Contemporary Design"
The project was an integral part of his MA diploma thesis at the WUT Faculty of Architecture. The thesis supervisors were Professor Karolina Tulkowska-Słyk and Mirosław Orzechowski, PhD.
- Aleksandra Snopkowska - "New Generation School in Praga, Warsaw"
The project is an integral part of her MA diploma thesis completed at the WUT Faculty of Architecture under the supervision of Professor Karolina Tulkowska-Słyk.
The "Honourable mention in architectural design" distinction was awarded to Przemysław Sasin and Agnieszka Wardzińska.
- Przemysław Sasin - "SEAWOOD eco house"
The project was created within a pre-diploma project at the WUT Faculty of Architecture. The tutor was Professor Elżbieta Dagny Ryńska.
- Agnieszka Wardzińska - "tree.data.arch - computationally supported architecture"
The project is an integral part of her MA diploma thesis completed at the WUT Faculty of Architecture under the supervision of Ewelina Gawell, PhD.
