Ou University received the award in March 2021. Within the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers – HRS4R, the European Commission awards it to research institutions which provide their staff with good working conditions and career development opportunities, and which use transparent recruitment procedures.

During the evaluation, experts checked whether the Warsaw University of Technology follows the rules and guidelines included in the European Charter for Researchers and Code of Conduct.

HR Excellence in Research means specific benefits for the awarded institutions: prestige, improved level of attractiveness of employment and additional points in international grant competitions of the European Commission.
