Our researcher on the TOP of the TOP Women in AI in Poland list
Maria Ganzha, PhD, DSc., Associate Professor at the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Science, was among the 10 most outstanding experts in AI.
The results were announced at The Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit. A jury chaired by Prof. Aleksandra Przegalińska made their choice from among the 100 previously recognized AI specialists. This way, the winners were selected in ten categories (Fighting AI bias, Ethical AI, AI Leadership, AI Research, AI Entrepreneur, AI Rising Star, AI Promoter, Young AI enthusiast, AI in Culture and AI for change) and one special distinction (Distinguished Mentor in AI) was awarded.
Maria Ganzha, an Associate Professor at the Warsaw University of Technology and at the Systems Research Institute PAS (recommended by the National Information Processing Institute - National Research Institute), received the award in the AI Research category.
The researcher is the author of nearly 200 scientific articles. She is on the editorial boards of five journals and publication series.
