The National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) has announced that 156 researchers will receive financial support to increase their international mobility. Eleven of the beneficiaries are people associated with the Warsaw University of Technology.

The Bekker Programme beneficiaries are eligible to go on a research trip abroad lasting from 3 months up to a year. Such trips may involve, among others, research or teaching work at renowned scientific and research institutions abroad, collaboration and joint work on international research projects, completion of a post-doctoral fellowship or obtaining materials for a research project.

An official gala ceremony to wrap up the previous phases of the programme is scheduled for 19 February at the Warsaw University of Technology Faculty of Physics.
