The Rector of the WUT has become a member of the Council of Plan for Labour and Development
Deputy Minister Jarosław Gowin presented the nominations.
On June 14, Prof. Krzysztof Zaremba, Rector of the Warsaw University of Technology, was nominated by Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin as a member of the Council of Plan for Labour and Development. It is composed of rectors of leading Polish universities, representatives of the world of science, the Polish Academy of Sciences, research institutes and organizations representing entrepreneurs, including Krzysztof Pietraszkiewicz, President of the Polish Bank Association and Chairman of the University Council at Warsaw University of Technology.
Members of the Council will support the implementation of the Plan for Labour and Development primarily by developing and giving opinions on proposals for substantive, legal and organisational solutions as well as initiating and coordinating cooperation with representatives of circles relevant for its implementation. In addition, it is also envisaged that the Council will participate in the identification and analysis of issues related to the implementation of the Plan for Work and Development, as well as undertake activities aimed at spreading awareness of this project.
The Plan for Labour and Development is one of the key tasks in the current activities of the Ministry of Labour and Technology Development. The aim is to provide multidimensional assistance to businesses struggling to cope with the effects of the coronavirus pandemic crisis and a long-term system to support economic development.
