The course can be found on the educational platform LeOn

Starting university is like a leap into the unknown. An interactive guide comes to the rescue, helping you get to know Warsaw University of Technology.

The course contains the most essential and important information about WUT, divided into four modules. Each of them is presented in two forms: an interactive one (short scenes which will help you get into a given situation) and a descriptive one (e-books with information).

Module 1 contains general information about the University, e.g., its structure, campuses, student rights and responsibilities, dormitories, available forms of student support, and extra-curricular activities.

Module 2 talks about the USOSweb platform. It is a collection of information how to check the timetable, register for courses, submit applications, complete surveys and where to check your credits history and financial settlements with the University.

Module 3 presents information about the LeON platform – what it is for, its interface, how to find materials and online courses there, as well as credit deadlines.

Module 4 is also about IT. It is a guidebook of Microsoft services and software. Thanks to it, everyone starting their studies at WUT will know how to get access to and use Microsoft applications, Azure services, one’s student mailbox or other engineering licences. It also gives you a hint which Microsoft applications are worth using during your studies at WUT.

WUT Starter is accessible to everyone who is starting their first-cycle or long-cycle studies at the Warsaw University of Technology.

The course can be found on the educational platform LeOn leon.pw.edu.pl. There you should go to My courses –> WUT Starter – Guidebook for first-years.
